Outside it says “Pizza and Grill”, but when you walk inside “CopaCabana’s” it’s an authentic Brazilian style buffet. Don’t be fooled by the exterior. Inside this Astoria-based restaurant you’ll find a delightful selection of exotic brazilian cuisines and dishes in a buffet style self-service. Perfect for the locals and to bring the family! It’s authentic, it’s cheap and it’s delicious!
I’m glad I took the chance to go inside and check it out. I have now been there four times. And yes, I will be coming back again.
$7.00 for a plate like this and a drink.

My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere semi-fancy to go for Christmas Eve dinner. We saw Bond 45 in Times Square and, as an instant impulse, decided to try it out. First impression when you walk in this place is it’s very cozy, huge with a very upscale, romantic kind of setting.
The drinks were GREAT! Very strong! But very expensive! Huge wine selection! (Although I’m not a wine drinker.)
The service was NOT SO GREAT. The waiter had no patience and I got the feeling he wanted to get our order out of the way real quick. Treated almost like we didn’t belong their (since we kind of didn’t).
The food was OVERPRICED! They have an extensive menu of appetizers, a wine menu and one page menu list of entrees. Not a very big selection in terms of entrees. We tried one pasta dish and one steak. The pasta – good! The steak – overpriced and.. well… it was just a tiny piece of meat for around $45 bucks (no sides). Was undercooked, had to have the guy cook it again. You have to buy the sides separately which none are under $10. The side of parmesan potatoes we did order was NO BIG DEAL! In other words, the potatoes we made for breakfast at home were better than those!
What we Got -
2 Alcohol Drinks (1 Special Mixed, 1 Wine)
1 Appetizer (Calamari)
1 Filet Mignon 12oz. Steak.
1 Side of Parmesan Potatoes
1 Lobster, Shrimp, Clams & Mussels Linguini
Our Bill – $160 dollars
Overall – For the price, NOT WORTH IT! A skimpy steak with no sides for over $45 dollars was the most upsetting part. I’ve tasted better for 1/3 of the price. This place is obviously more for the wealthier, atmospheric minded. We ended up leaving very disappointed in the whole experience. WE WILL NOT COME BACK.
